Why I'm Running...

I am running for Cleveland County Commissioner to give back to the community that has given me so much.  It's not easy running for office... taking away leisure time from your family or raising money to run a campaign... but it's all worth it.
I am not one of the long-time politicians of Cleveland County.  I want to serve our citizens, then move over and let new ideas in.  Fresh ideas and views can be a good thing in business and government.
Some things that I think we need to focus on are (not all-inclusive)

• Transparency in county government
• Improve Infrastructure (including the Reservior in Upper Cleveland County
• Better relationships between law enforcement agencies and county government
• Smart economic development with win-win outcomes for business and citizens of Cleveland County
• Become a more business-friendly county to prospective employers and current businesses
• Top-ranked school system and Colleges focused on education of our children and displaced workers
• Tightening the County Budget... many of our citizens have had to cut back as well
